Virginia Magdalin Rohrer

Virginia “Ginny” Magdalin Rohrer, 74, of Puyallup, Washington, entered peacefully into the presence of the Lord on the morning of September 6, 2025.

Ginny was born on October 17, 1950, in Owatonna, Minnesota, to Raymond and Bertha Jirele. She grew up in Owatonna, graduated from Owatonna High School in 1968, and went on to attend Mankato State University.

In 1972, she married the love of her life, her devoted husband of 53 years, with whom she built a family and a legacy rooted in faith, love, and dedication. Together they raised three children—Samuel, Anna, and Robert—who were her pride and joy. She was a loving grandmother to her nine grandchildren: Adeline, Elijah, Eloise, Henry, Nyla, Elizabeth, Marjorie, Mabel, and Robby, each of whom she cherished deeply.

Ginny is also survived by her siblings, Ramona and Dennis. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Bertha Jirele, her brother Raymond, and her sister Cecilia.

A woman of steadfast faith, Ginny devoted her life to God, her family, and her church. She loved studying the Bible and attending church services and Bible studies. In her free time, she enjoyed reading, baking, sewing, and camping—simple joys that reflected her warmth and creativity.

A service celebrating Ginny’s life will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at Puyallup Community Baptist Church, 1318 9th Ave SW, Puyallup, WA.

Ginny’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Her faith, kindness, and devotion to her family will remain a lasting legacy.
