Paula Francine Strobl, 80, of Puyallup, passed away peacefully on June 06, 2026, surrounded by her loving family at Good Samaritan Hospital. Born on March 23, 1946, in Auburn, Washington, to the late Paul and Georgette Meyer, Paula was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend whose kindness, strength, and unwavering love touched everyone who knew her.

Paula grew up in a close-knit family and graduated from Puyallup High School in 1964. After high school Paula became a loving wife and mother of 3 children. After the kids were raised, she ventured into entrepreneurship first opening a coffee shop in Fircrest, Espresso Yourself where she sold her famous pies. After selling that she opened the Flowerpot Café at Watson’s Greenhouse and Nursery. Paula loved giving her time to help others. She was a 20-year member (2006-2026) in the P.E.O. sisterhood and helped for 8 years with the Good Samaritan Reader program.

Her greatest joys came from time spent with family and friends. She loved baking (apple pies, cinnamon rolls, cookies), working in her beautiful yard, being with her grandchildren teaching them to bake or just playing games, reading mystery novels and watching mysteries on Brit box while knitting or crocheting. Paula was also an avid gardener and worked many seasons for Vassey’s Nursery.
