Patrick Kelly McElroy, 63, of Orting, Washington, passed away suddenly on November 2, 2025.
Patrick was a devoted family man whose greatest joy was being surrounded by those he loved. He was rarely seen without a grandchild in his arms or on his lap, always ready with a smile or a laugh to share. A hardworking and humble man throughout his life, Patrick took great pride in providing for his family and was always the first to offer a helping hand to others.
He cherished his time by the ocean, especially camping with his life partner, Robin, and their family. Patrick had a natural gift for working with his hands—whether repairing cars, improving the home, or building bridges and dance floors. His craftsmanship, generosity, humor, helping hands and quiet strength will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.
Patrick was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Gene and Francis Lucille McElroy. He is survived by his beloved partner, Robin Hash, and their blended family: Patrick, Adam, Brandon, Caitlyn, Daniel, and Elizabeth and by his seventeen beloved grandchildren and four great grandchildren, all who were the light of his life. He is also survived by his older siblings: Bobbie, Mike, and Tim.
Patrick’s presence filled every room with warmth, patience, kindness, and love. His memory will continue to live on in the laughter of his grandchildren and in the many lives he touched.
A celebration of Patrick’s life will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Valley Burial and Cremation, 217 E Pioneer Puyallup, Washington.
