In loving memory of Mary (LaCrosse) Schultz Morton.
It is with heavy heart that our family announces the peaceful passing of beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
Mary was preceded in death by her parent, Ralph and Katie, first husband, Ken Schultz, and later in life, her second husband, Fred Morton, as well as seven siblings, and her son-in-law, Jim Bair.
She will be forever missed by her daughters, Judy Bair, Christie (Jim) Callero, Grandchildren Wendy (Chris) Nachtsheim, Joe (Kari) Bair, and Andy (Bekah) Blair. Mary was especially proud of Great Grandchildren, Camden, Natalile, Aiden, Parker and Katelyn.
Mary's parents (Ralph and Katie) raised their eight children on a farm in Puyallup Valley. Mary was the youngest, and her brother Alfred, is the last remaining sibling. Thankfully, Mary and Al were able to spend some family time together during the last few months of her life.
Mary and her siblings grew up in a loving farm family where the qualities of hard work, honesty, helping neighbors, and faith in God were paramount.
Mary found simple pleasure in "antiquing", thrift store visits, floral nurseries, and "Senior coffee" at Mcdonald's. Her favorite shopping buddy was her sister, Boots. Together, the accumulated many "collections."
As a para-educator with the Sumner School District, Mary had a positive influence on hundreds of students-everything from instructional support to pulling teeth!
Mary's "HAPPY PLACE" was working in her flower gardens, yard art, and sharing her knowledge with friends and family. She couldn't tour her yard without pulling a weed or two!
Per Mary's request there will be no memorial service.
In her memory, let us be kind, love deeply, and live every day to the fullest!
