Judith Lee (Hotz) Mauro

Judith Lee (Hotz) Mauro, 83, passed away peacefully at home on May 20, 2026, just 30 days after her beloved husband. Born August 4, 1942, in Omaha, Nebraska, to Arthur and Vaunice Hotz, Judy moved to Puyallup at the age of 12 and spent the rest of her life in the area. A devoted homemaker, she took great pride in raising her two boys, managing the family rentals, and later working for a local attorney's office. Judy possessed a strong work ethic and deeply valued family. She was an avid cross-stitcher who loved sharing her passion for crafting with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Vaunice Hotz, her sister Sharon Rody, and her husband of 60 years, Domnick "Sonny" Mauro. She is survived by sons Jeff (Kristine) and their son Payton and Greg (Kim) and their daughter Piper; along with many beloved nieces, nephews, and extended family members. The family takes comfort in knowing she and Sonny are together again.
