Jo Suzanne Emry

We are saddened to announce the passing of Jo Suzanne Emry, who is lovingly known by her friends and family as Suzie, who departed on April 12th, 2026, at the age of 66. Born in Puyallup on December 2nd, 1959. Suzie was loved by family, friends, and all who knew her. She was known for the intense love she held for her family, her sense of humor and beautiful laughter that could fill a room. She loved to dance and listen to music.

Suzie is survived by her husband Ray Emry, of 47 years, and their children Amy Emry, Melissa Emry, son in-law Richard, Miranda Gundy, Robert Gundy, daughter in-law Sarah and their four granddaughters Emily, her spouse Aemilia, Kayden, her spouse Cayden, Madison, her spouse Terron, and Zoey. She also is survived by her great grandchildren Emmett and Eris. She was met in heaven by her beloved son Kasey Ray Emry, her mother Carol Hueneka, Father Fred Hueneka, and brothers Jeff and David Hueneka.

Suzie was a force to be reckoned with, she fought hard and loved harder, we cherish the memories she left behind, the lives she touched and her legacy that will live on through her friends and family.

A celebration of life will be held at a later time this upcoming summer.
