Jeramy Duane Headley

As a child, Jeramy was full of energy, happiness, and kindness. He was outgoing and loved to make people laugh. He had a huge sense of humor and an amazing personality that naturally drew people to him As he grew up, Jeramy always stood up for others, especially those who couldn’t defend themselves. He didn’t like seeing people get bullied and would step in to protect them. He truly had a kind heart. Jeramy was extremely smart. In grade school, he would get in trouble at times because he was bored, and after testing, it was discovered that he needed more of a challenge. He ended up attending a gifted program after skipping a grade. He had a natural ability to learn and could do anything he set his mind to.

Jeramy was always real. He wasn’t fake, and he told it like it was. He believed in being honest with people and wasn’t afraid to speak the truth. You always knew where you stood with him, and that was something people respected about him. Jeramy was also incredibly handy. He was the kind of person who could fix anything. Whether it was something around the house or working on cars, he knew what he was doing. If something was broken, Jeramy would figure it out.

Like all of us, Jeramy was navigating life the best he could. Through everything, he remained a kind and caring soul. Jeramy became a father at a young age, and he loved his children, Ryan and Aisla, very much. He did the best he knew how with what he had, and being a father meant a lot to him. Growing up without his own dad, he still tried to be the best father he could be.

He was also a proud and loving uncle. Jeramy loved his niece Alivia and his nephew Alijah deeply. He talked about going to see Alijah play basketball and made time to be present with the kids. Family meant everything to him. Jeramy was very protective of the people he loved. He had a giving heart and always wanted to make sure his family was okay. He loved animals, enjoyed going fishing, and liked trying new things. He had a bit of a thrill-seeking side and wasn’t afraid to experience life.

Jeramy is survived by his children, Ryan and Aisla; the love of his life, Tamanda; his sister, Marcy; his mother, Sharon; his grandmother, Sharon; his niece, Alivia; and his nephew, Alijah, along with many other family members and loved ones. Jeramy was an amazing person who was loved by many. His humor, his heart, and the love he gave to others will never be forgotten.

He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
