Frances M Bargmeyer passed away quietly on June 26, 2026, after a long battle with cancer. Frances was born in Puyallup General Hospital on April 3, 1950. In 1968 she graduated #1 in her class at White River High School in Buckley, WA. At the height of the Viet Nam war, her valedictorian speech was entitled “We want change and we want it NOW”. At 8am the next day, Frances began her career with Seattle First National Bank, which later became Bank of America. She began her career assisting tellers. After many different job titles, she retired 50 years later as a Vice President of Global Wealth Management.

She worked in the downtown Puyallup branch for over 20 years before moving to Bank of America’s “Private Bank” department in Tacoma. Frances spent her final two decades in the bank’s “Investment Management and Trust Services” in Seattle. She earned the professional designation of CTFA - Certified Trust Financial Advisor.

When Frances married Larry Bargmeyer of Puyallup, he had two children already in college - Brad Bargmeyer and Stacey Bargmeyer Hutchison. Frances has three grandsons.

Frances and Larry enjoyed many long road trips together, more than a dozen Halloweens in Hawaii plus several Pacific, Atlantic and Caribbean cruises - including five trips through the Panama Canal.

At her request, there will be no public services.
