Elsie Martha (Arndt) Fritz

Born February 22, 1932, to Charles and Laura Arndt in Orting, WA. On June 30, 2025, she went to be with Jesus Christ, her Savior and Lord. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 47 years, Herbert John Fritz. She will be missed by her daughters, Leanne (David) Mitchell of Stuart, FL, Lisa (David) Helms, of Hodgenville, KY, Jillene (Gregory) Brown of Spokane, WA, Janeen Fritz of Edgewood, WA, nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, sister Mary (George) Granberg of Auburn, WA, and numerous other relatives.
Following the call of Jesus, she faithfully taught Sunday school, lead AWANA, and did a variety of tasks needed at their church. She hospitably welcomed many into her home for a meal and conversation. She often shared her Savior and her heart with a visit to the sick or a shut-in, bringing honey from Herb’s hives, homemade pie, jams and jellies - many times with her young daughters in tow. She taught her girls the value of knowing and applying the Word of God to their lives.  Elsie and Herb also fostered children. She enjoyed gardening, canning, sewing and many family gatherings. She will best be remembered as a prayer warrior.
A celebration of life will be held Sat. July 26, 2025 at 11AM at Edgewood Church of Joy (Jovita Baptist), 1120 114th Ave E, Edgewood.
