Desiree Marguerite Guiles Baird passed away unexpectedly in the early morning hours of July 7, 2026, at the age of 46, while in Auburn, Washington.
Although Desiree had no children of her own, she had a truly magical gift for connecting with children and animals. Her constant companion was her beloved Chihuahua, Cinnamon. She was deeply passionate about protecting children from abuse and human trafficking and cared deeply about the safety and well-being of others. Desiree will be remembered for her gentle, nurturing spirit and the kindness she freely shared with everyone she met.
Desiree came from a large and loving family. She is survived by her father, Roger Guiles; her mother, Deborah Wiese; her stepmother, Celia Guiles; her siblings, Jesse Guiles, Brandi Neason, Gweneviere Sorensen, and Elijah Guiles; along with many beloved extended family members. She was preceded in death by her brother, Jebediah Guiles.
In recent months, Desiree had been staying in Auburn while visiting family. She remained especially close with her aunt and uncle, Jeri Lynn Marston and Edward "Butch" Marston, as well as her aunt and uncle, Bryan and Lisa Nydoske of Albuquerque, New Mexico.
She also leaves behind many cherished cousins, including Jeremiah and Jacob Nydoske, Amber, Samantha, Shannon, Candi, Ayla, Tina, and many others who loved her dearly.
A Celebration of Life will be held near her birthday in Auburn, Washington. Details of the service will be announced at a later date.
Desiree's beautiful light will always be remembered. Her family is deeply grateful for the outpouring of love and support they have received during this difficult time. They will forever cherish the memories they shared with her and the lasting impact she made on so many lives.
