Dari Lynne Graham Hines, age 79 passed away peacefully on October 3, 2025, at Fred Hutch Cancer Center. Born on February 27, 1946, in Paris, Texas, Dari lived a life filled with love, adventure, and unwavering faith.
Dari was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. A successful businesswoman and a cherished friend to many, she was known for her generosity, warmth, and deep love for her family. Dari found great joy in attending church, sharing coffee with friends, traveling, and especially cruising to new destinations. She delighted in trying cuisines from around the world and approached life with openness and curiosity. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy, and she maintained a strong and personal relationship with the Lord throughout her life.
She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Robert “Buster” Graham and Katherine Graham, as well as her brothers James LaRue, Joe LaRue, and Bobby Graham.
Dari is survived by her loving daughter Stephanie Matherne and son-in-law Michael, grandsons Ryan, Jeremy, Brenden, and Tristen, and great-granddaughter Ava. She is also survived by her chosen family: sister Phyllis Edinburgh and grandson Adam Ritchey, along with many nieces, nephews, and friends whom she dearly loved.
