Christine Sawyer

Christine “Chris” M. Sawyer passed away on June 14, 2026, at the age of 63. She was born on December 23, 1962.

For the past 26 years, Chris found her piece of paradise in Tacoma, Washington. Her beloved home was nestled on a two-acre property she affectionately named “Driftwood Acres”—a place where she found endless peace, beauty, and joy. From her property, she enjoyed a view of Mt. Rainier for many years and took great pride in caring for the land she loved.

An avid gardener, Chris found happiness in planting, nurturing, and sharing the abundance of her gardens with family, friends, and neighbors. Her generosity, love of nature, and appreciation for life’s simple pleasures will be fondly remembered by those who knew her.

Chris was preceded in death by her father, Sandy J. Sawyer. She is survived by her mother, Char Jackson (Moyer), and her sisters, Tammy Sawyer and Lynnette Sawyer.

In keeping with Chris’s wishes, she was cremated and no formal service or memorial will be held. Her family will gather privately at a later date to celebrate her life and the many memories she leaves behind.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
