Brenda Lea Kelly

Brenda-Lea Kelley passed away on Wednesday May 20th 2026 peacefully at the age of 74 surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her husband of 53 years Thomas, her 5 children Kristi, Kari, Tom Jr (Lyzel) Michael (Melissa) and stepdaughter Vicki as well as her sister Karen (brother in-law James) nephews Steven and Tim and her 19 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Brenda was born on September 21st, 1951 in Tacoma WA to Harold (Pete) and Victoria (Veda) Peterson where she would spend 20 years of her life working for Internal Medicine Assoc. before pivoting into education as an office coordinator for Tacoma Public Schools where she would retire after 20 years. She will be remembered as a daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother who ALWAYS saw the best in everyone and lived her life to celebrate her family and help those in need. Brenda may be gone but she will NEVER be forgotten.
