Bebe Colley

Bebe Colley (Helmstetler), 58, of Puyallup, Washington, passed away at home on December 18, 2025. Born in Seattle, Washington, Bebe dedicated her life to being an incredible, selfless mother and wife. She spent 33 years in a loving, laughter-filled marriage with her husband, and 28 beautiful years loving her daughters in every way possible. Bebe was deeply committed to her children, and in service of that objective, dedicated many years to volunteering with the Parent Teacher Association and school booster clubs, working to raise funds and advocate for students.

She cherished traveling with friends, cooking incredible meals for her family, and wearing anything that sparkled. Some of her family’s fondest memories with her include strolling the Pike Place Market to find the perfect bouquet of flowers, visiting the pygmy goats at the Puyallup Fair, walking the family dogs on the waterfront at Point Ruston, and cooking elaborate Thanksgiving meals for her beloved family and the friends she considered family.

Bebe was preceded in death by her stepbrother, Michael Joseph, and her stepfather, Edward Joseph. She is survived by her loving husband, Richard; her daughters, Emma and Madison; her daughter-in-law, Samantha; her mother, Lindsey Joseph; and her father, Delbert Helmstetler.

Bebe will be remembered for her deep love for animals and people alike, her hard-working spirit, and her unintentionally, hilarious sense of humor. Her generosity, warmth, and caring nature were gifts to everyone lucky enough to know her. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Humane Society or Feed My Starving Children. A celebration of life will be held in Puyallup, Washington, in the coming months.
