Barbara Jean Hank, née Neyman, passed away on June 17, 2026, in Puyallup, Washington, at the age of 68. She was born on April 12, 1958, in Phoenix, Arizona, to Hugh and Ruby Neyman.
Barbara graduated from Foss High School in Tacoma, Washington, and earned her nursing certification from Clover Park Technical College. She dedicated more than 20 years of compassionate service as a nurse at Tacoma General and Mary Bridge Hospital, where her caring heart and gentle spirit touched countless lives.
Barbara's greatest joy was spending time with her family. She will be remembered for her caring and compassionate nature, her kindness, and the unconditional love she gave so freely to those around her.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 42 years, Gary Hank; her daughter, Kristen; and her sisters, Nancy Little and Patricia Scott. She also leaves behind many extended family members and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hugh and Ruby Neyman; her brother, Joseph Neyman; and her sister, Carol Turner.
A memorial service celebrating Barbara's life will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at Valley Burial & Cremation in Puyallup, Washington.
Barbara's love, generosity, and gentle spirit will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
